DownThemAll! for Chrome Now available for Opera DownThemAll! 4 – The WebExtension Forth Beta – Now with some translations Beta The Third 2nd WebExtension Beta DownThemAll! 4.0.Part 2. If your language isn’t available yet, check out the translation guide and consider if you’d be able to help out. Thanks again to all the volunteer translators, too, who made it possible to bring DownThemAll! to you in your native language. Subfolders were possible before using the renaming mask feature, but it was somewhat non-obvious to discover, so based on user feedback, I added the new drop-down.Īdditionally, you now have more options to configure the browser button, there is an import and export facility, and other minor new features. This new versions introduces a “subfolder” field that allows you to easily toggle download subfolders.
I am happy to announce the release of DownThemAll! 4.1, which is available for Firefox and Chrome in their corrsponding add-on websites/stores (there is an issue with updating the Opera package).
New users on Firefox will now see the Recommended badge on the Add-on listing page.Īnd every user gets to see this when opening the Add-ons page in their Firefox: It also means that future updates will be thoroughly reviewed by mozilla as well before they get published.Įxisting users do not have to do anything, as updates are automatic.
Recommended means that the mozilla team did a thorough review of DownThemAll!, both in code and basic functionality, and found no issues that would put users at risk, and that the extension does not contain any nasty surprises like undisclosed user tracking either (DownThemAll! does not include any tracking, of course, but now you got it confirmed by mozilla). The old DownThemAll! (up to version 3.0) was a long term recommended add-on, too, and I am happy that the WebExtension now is as well. Thanks to Scott DeVaney, who first reached out to me, and “zephyr” from the mozilla Add-ons Editors team and maybe others, who reviewed the extension, DownThemAll! is now listed as a Recommended Firefox extension.
